Biography of the Publications Chair
Anestis A. Toptsis is an associate professor of computer science at York University in Toronto, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago, United States, M.A. in Mathematics from York University, Toronto, Canada, and B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece. His research interests include software and web mining, artificial intelligence, affective and cognitive computing, complex systems, heuristic search, and computer-aided education.
