Biography of the Publicity Chair
Dr. Cristian Marinescu received his PhD, Master and Bachelor degrees in Engineering at the University "Politehnica" of Bucharest (Romania), Computer Science and Engineering Department. His PhD thesis entitled: "Electronic Signature of Data – A Hybrid Time-Stamping Scheme", was successfully finished in 2008.
Dr. Cristian Marinescu is working since 1999 at OMICRON electronics GmbH, in Austria, doing research and development for network protocols and embedded devices. Since 2007 he is the leader of the Software Embedded Systems (SWES) Group at OMICRON. He is IEEE member and his current research interests include but are not limited to network protocols, security, distributed systems, embedded systems, software engineering and development.
With more than 12 years experience in the industry, he is the author of 27 research articles that were published in international conferences, journals and magazines.
