Biography of the Best Paper Awards Chair
Kongpan Areerak is an assistant professor of the School of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, THAILAND. He received the B.Eng. and M.Eng degrees in Electrical Engineering from Suranaree University of Technology in 2000 and 2001, respectively and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, United Kingdom, in 2009. In 2002, he was a Lecturer in the Electrical and Electronic Department, Rangsit University, Thailand. Since 2003, he has been a Lecturer in the School of Electrical Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology. His main research interests include system identifications, artificial intelligence applications, stability analysis of power systems with constant power loads, modeling and control of power electronic based systems, and control theory.(Dr. Kongpan Areerak is twin of Dr. Kongpol Areerak).
