Alex Villazon is an assistant professor in the Distributed and Parallel Systems group at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is involved in several national and international Grid-related projects (Austrian Grid, FWF-Aurora, EU-EGEE, EU-ASG). He has published several publications on Grid resource management, Grid application deployment, advanced reservation, grid workflows, resource accounting and mobile code. His current research focuses on resource management and scientific grid workflows on the ASKALON Grid Application Development and Computing Environment. He also coordinates the local activities related to training, grid middleware deployment, and security in Austrian Grid and EGEE projects.

Martin Rabanser is a student of Computer Science and works at the Distributed and Parallel Systems Group at the Department of Computer Science, University of Innsbruck, Austria. He works in the EGEE project and is the responsible of the local gLite testbed for certification, grid workflow porting and training. He has long experience with the deployment of grid middleware based on virtual machine technology and also in training for grid system administrators and grid users.
