is an Associate Professor in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his BS and MS degrees in Atmospheric Sciences respectively from Peking University and the University of Wyoming, and his PhD degree in Atmospheric Chemistry from Harvard University. He has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in Atmospheric Chemistry and a graduate-level course in Air Pollution Meteorology and Chemistry. His research interests include tropospheric oxidants, their precursors and proxies, aerosol sources and transport, multiscale modelling of atmospheric chemical and transport processes, kinetics of gas phase and heterogeneous reactions, and air pollution and its regional and global effects on the concentrations and distributions of trace gases and aerosols.
