Biography of the Organizer
Professor Ponnambalam is a Professor in the Department of Systems Design Engineering, University of Waterloo. His background is in systems modelling, numerical methods, optimization, statistical and stochastic analyses and specializes in the robust design of systems under uncertainty. As an expert in computer programming and large scale software he has developed numerous softwares for engineering applications. His current research include data mining mental health care databases. He has published over a hundred journal articles and conference papers.
