Enrico Stura, born in Genoa, Italy, 20 September 1975, received his Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Genoa in 2001. Soon after, he attended the PhD program in Biophysics, receiving his PhD in 2005. Currently, he lives in Genoa, and leads a research group at the Nanoworld Institute. He is also a project engineer at Siemens A&D, with commitment to automation and control systems. His main fields of research include photovoltaic organic applications, nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, organic lithium-ion batteries, biosensors based on proteins, and polymers. He is the author of numerous publications in international journals and holder of industrial patents.
