Application of Metaheuristics to Control Design Optimization

Abstract

Nowaday, search metaheuristics is playing an important role in many engineering design problems including control design optimization. Presentations of research results and discussions on this topic will enhance academic and industrial research community to achieve innovative design solutions. Prospective authors are invited to submit their original works that cover applications of bio-inspired algorithms, tabu search, scatter search, guided local search, etc. to various aspects of control design problems. Issues on real-world problems are encouraged.

Target Audience

All researchers, scientists and practitioners working in the field of metaheuristics search applications.
Authors submitting papers to this special session must follow the initial paper formatting requirements. All papers must be submitted by January 14, 2013.

Biography of the Special Session Organizer

Jukkrit Kluabwang has been working with department of Electrical Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Tak, for 15 years ago. He received his B.Eng. from Chiang Mai University in 1995, M.Eng from Chulalong Univesity in 2004 and Ph.D. from Suranaree University of Technology in 2011, all in electrical engineering, respectively.
His current research related to developing an efficient search algorithm and applying search algorithms to solve engineering problems. His publications can be found in both journals and proceedings of more than twenty issues.
