is Professor of Electrical Engineering and Tier–I Canada Research Chair in Radio-Frequency and Millimeter-Wave Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique (University of Montreal), Canada. He has been the Director of the Poly-Grames Research Center. He also holds an honorary visiting professorship and a Cheung Kong endowed chair professorship at Southeast University, and an honorary professorship at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He has authored over 450 refereed papers and 15 books/book chapters. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and prizes, including the first recipient of the IEEE MTT-S Outstanding Young Engineer Award for his pioneering contributions and groundbreaking work including the invention of novel theories, concepts, technologies, and applications. He serves on editorial boards of many international journals and encyclopedias in the positions of guest editor, editor, and associate editor. Prof. Wu has been Chair and General Chair of many international committees, conferences, and symposia. He will be the General Chair of the 2012 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium. He is an elected AdCom member of the IEEE MTT-S for the term of 2006-2009 and serves as Chair of the MTT-S Transnational Committee. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and the Royal Society of Canada (The Canadian Academy of the Sciences and Humanities). Ke Wu
