Biography of the Invited Speaker

Yuanchun Shi is a professor of the Department of Computer Science, the director of HCI & Media Integration Institute, Tsinghua University. She is the Chairperson of the Technique Committee of Pervasive Computing, China Computer Federation. She received her PhD, MS and BS in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. She was a senior visiting scholar at MIT AI lab in 2001. She has been worked at Tsinghua University since 1993. Her research interests include pervasive computing, human computer interaction, network multimedia and elearning technology. She has been guiding the Smart Space projects (http://media.cs.tsinghua.edu.cn/~pervasive/) in which Smart Classroom is a experimental system for pervasive computing in e-learning application.
