Biography of the Keynote Speaker
Ryuichi Yokoyama received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 1968, 1970, and 1974, respectively. After joining at the Mitsubishi Research Institute, since 1978 he had been working as a professor at the Tokyo Metropolitan University, and more recently as a professor in the Graduate School of Environment and Energy Environment of Waseda University, Japan since 2007. His fields of interest include planning, operation, control and simulation of large-scale environment and energy systems, economical analysis of deregulated electricity markets and environmental impacts. He is an IEEE Fellow, a member of CIGRE and the IEE of Japan.
