INVITED SPEAKER
Transition Requirements and Strategies for Smart Grid under Germany Condition
Abstract
The move towards more integrated renewable energy recourses (RESs) has influenced in a change of energy process. The vision of future electricity networks has been recently discussed by the technology platform “Smart Grids”. This vision would lead to new infrastructure, processes and services of clean energy resources to build up sustainable energy supply systems. The aim of the keynote is to contribute the existing and extended knowledge, which is available in Germany based on the European and international standards. The keynote presentation outlines are stated as below.Presentation outlines:
• German government strategies of RESs
• Discussion of the actual situation concerning grid integration of RESs; PV, Wind Energy, Bio mass, etc.
• Problems- and strategies for grid integration
• Strategies for automation and grid control
• Highlight on Smart Grid made in Germany
