Mr. Gilliland conducts seminars on the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, e-Discovery, and other growing trends in litigation. His seminar content links the new challenges in the law to the solutions offered by CT Summation products and services. He has been an invited speaker at bar association events and trade shows, in addition to serving as a guest lecturer on e-Discovery at several law schools. Mr. Gilliland effectively uses his real-world knowledge to show lawyers how they can increase their efficiency and master factual issues using CT Summation software.
Before joining the CT Summation team, Mr. Gilliland practiced construction defect litigation at Roger, Scott & Helmer. He worked as a contract attorney and consultant on complex civil cases and a Federal Habeas appeal in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he gained experience in using both CT Summation and Trial Director, having used the fomer in complex business cases and criminal apellate matters. He received his J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in 2001 and holds an A.B. in Political Science from University of California at Davis. He also ties a mean bowtie.
