Since joining LexisNexis Litigation Services Division, Ms. Inserra has acted as a liaison between LexisNexis and top litigation firms throughout the country, consulting with them regarding how LexisNexis can best serve the unique challenges and needs of today's litigators. Specifically, she has conducted presentations at law firms, legal conferences and NITA programs, educating attorneys regarding how the LexisNexis portfolio of litigation tools, content, and services can help them be more efficient and effective in their litigation practice. In addition, Ms. Inserra acts as a product consultant to LexisNexis, drawing on her extensive litigation experience to advise the company regarding the enhancement of its existing litigation products and the development and acquisition of new products.
Ms. Inserra currently works with law schools around the country to introduce cutting-edge litigation tools to faculty and students, and to help integrate this technology into clinical programs, skills courses, and legal research and writing courses. In particular, Ms. Inserra educates faculty and students regarding two key litigation tools that are widely used in litigation firms – "CaseMap" (case analysis software), and "Total Litigator," (LexisNexis' comprehensive, task-based litigation platform). Ms. Inserra consults with faculty regarding how CaseMap can serve not only as a practical tool in the clinical setting, but as a pedagogical tool to help prepare students for the practice of law by teaching them to "think like litigators." Ms. Inserra also provides hands-on training to faculty and students as to how use CaseMap and Total Litigator.
