Signal and Image Processing (SIP 2007)

SIP 2007 is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in and applications of signal and image processing. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. SIP 2007 aims to strengthen relationships between companies, research laboratories, and universities.

SIP 2007 is sponsored by the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED), with the assistance of:
  • Technical Committee on Image Processing
  • Technical Committee on Signal Processing
In cooperation with the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP)

Conference Chair

Dr. Rui J.P. de Figueiredo is a Research Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Professor de Figueiredo's numerous honors include: the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Life Fellow, and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Golden Jubilee Medal.
